Fighting the same battles every single day (shoes, screens, homework, leaving the park) no matter how calm you stay?
Ever cave in aisle 7 because you can’t handle one more grocery store meltdown, then carry the guilt all the way to bedtime?
Tried the reels, the sticker charts, and the gentle parenting scripts, only to watch your kid look you dead in the eye and laugh?

Workshop Benefits
During this workshop you’ll:
Learn why your kid escalates when you stay calm and keeps pushing after you've said no (the real answer, from behavior science, in mom language)
See why giving in sometimes is completely understandable and also accidentally teaching the battle to keep going
Get the conference table reframe that puts you and your kid on the same team, working against the problem together
Watch a live coaching moment: drop your toughest standoff in the chat and see how I work through it with my GUIDE framework
Learn the Verbal Pivot, the 3-step response I teach for strong-willed and highly sensitive kids
Find out why behavior gets harder right before it gets easier (the extinction burst), so you don't give up the night before it starts working
Build your own Verbal Pivot response for your actual kid, with feedback from me in real time

My Story
Why I Teach This
I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 22 years of experience working with kids with ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and big behaviors. I've sat with hundreds of families and watched the same pattern play out: a mom who's read everything and tried everything, convinced she's failing, when the actual problem is that the advice was written for a different kid.
I also have my own kids. I know exactly what it looks like when the whole morning falls apart before 8am.
That's what this workshop is. A live hour where you watch how I think through a real standoff, then build a response for your actual kid with my feedback.
I'm Melissa Schulz, MS, BCBA. I run Confidently Mommin', where I help moms of strong-willed, highly sensitive, and neurodiverse kids stop surviving their days and start enjoying their kids again. This workshop is the fastest way I know to hand you the first piece.
FAQ
The workshop is built for kids ages 2 to 10. The Verbal Pivot works across that whole range, and the live coaching pulls scenarios from different ages so you see how it applies to yours.
It's for any mom whose kid doesn't respond to standard parenting advice. Strong-willed, highly sensitive, emotionally intense kids with ADHD, kids with autism. If the usual approaches haven't worked, you're in the right place.
Live is better. You can drop your standoff in the chat for the coaching moment and get real-time feedback while you build your response. But the replay goes out the morning after (July 29) and you have lifetime access.
I've been to parenting workshops before and nothing stuck. Why is this different?
Because you build something during the hour. By the end you'll have a response written for your kid and your situation, ready to use that night, instead of a list of tips to remember.
Because paid means you'll show up. I've run years' worth of free webinars and watched people register and then disappear. Twenty-seven dollars is the cost of a few coffees, but more importantly, it’s a signal to yourself that you're serious about changing this pattern.
The workshop stands on its own. You'll leave with your response, whether or not you ever spend another dollar with me. At the end, I'll share two ways to keep working with me (Behavior Rx at $97 and the 30-Day Power Struggle Fix at $350) and drop the links in the chat. Zero pressure either way.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst. It's a graduate-level credential in applied behavior analysis, the science of how behavior works and how to change it. I use that science to help real families in real kitchens on real Tuesday mornings.
