A PLAN WRITTEN BY MELISSA
Behavior Rx
One behavior. One plan.
Written by me, for your kid.
Maybe she doesn't listen until you've said it four times. Maybe it's the hitting. Maybe it's bedtime. Maybe it's the meltdown the second you say no.
You tell me what's been happening, in your own words. I figure out what the behavior is earning your kid, and I write the plan myself. How to keep it from starting, and what to do when it starts anyway. In plain language, with a video where I walk you through it. Yours to keep.
$97.
Sound Familiar, Mama?

You've tried the counting, the sticker chart, the script you googled at 11pm, and the thing that worked for three days and then stopped
You know exactly what's happening. You just don't know what to DO
Every plan you've ever read was written for somebody else's kid

What You Walk Away With

How to keep the behavior from starting
What to do when it starts anyway

What to do the week the behavior gets worse before it gets easier (and it will)

Behavior Rx
One behavior. One plan.
Written by me, for your kid.
You don't have to know what's wrong before we start. Finding that is my part.
$97. Yours to keep, and to run again the next time something new shows up.
After you grab it, you'll get an email from me with a few questions about your kid, and that's where your plan starts.
"We were going about it all wrong. I didn't realize my son already felt so much shame about his behavior, and reminding him he needed to try harder was doing more harm than good." — a mom of an 11-year-old, before her Behavior Rx plan.
"Framing it differently in our minds and removing the shame has been HUGELY helpful. He seems much more motivated to try his best, and is proud of himself when he waits until 5am." — another mom, a few weeks into her Behavior Rx plan.
How Behavior Rx Works
Step 1. You grab your plan. An email from me lands in your inbox with a few questions about your kid: what's been happening, what it looks like, and how it usually ends. You answer in your own words, and that's all I need from you to begin
Step 2. I find the why. I read what you sent and work out what the behavior is earning her, because that's the piece every strategy skipped, and it's the piece the whole plan is built on
Step 3. Your plan arrives. Written in plain language, with a video where I walk you through it. You run it in your real house, and it's yours to keep for the next behavior and the one after that
$97.

My Story
Hey. I'm Melissa.
I'm Melissa Schulz, MS, BCBA, a parenting coach, a #1 internationally bestselling author, and I spent twelve years running my own behavior therapy company. Helping moms yell less and smile more is my whole job.
Twenty three years of figuring out why kids do what they do, and three kids of my own, two of them neurodiverse. So when I say I know what your evenings look like, I mean it.
I have never met a bad kid. I've met a lot of behavior nobody had translated yet.
Your kid isn't broken and they're not doing it to you. They're an expert. They found the thing that works in your house and they're very good at it. Once you can see what it's earning them, you stop fighting the behavior and start changing what it pays.
That's what Behavior Rx is. You bring me the behavior, I figure out what it's earning, and you get a plan that fits your kid.
FAQ
Is the plan really written by you?
Yes. Me, not a template and not a program. I read what you send me about your kid, I work out what the behavior is earning her, and I write the plan myself. Twenty three years of doing this for families, and nobody has done it for yours yet.
“It’s way, way more than what people are probably imagining.” — a mom of a 5 and a 9 year old, after her Behavior Rx plan.
What if I can't pick just one?
Don't worry, just get it, and I'll help you pick one. Picking where to start is my job, not yours. The behavior earning him the most is usually the one costing you the most, and once that one changes, the rest gets a whole lot easier to see.
My kid has ADHD. Or autism. Or no diagnosis at all. Will this work for us?
Yes, and it was built with your kid at the center rather than as an afterthought. I've spent 23 years supporting neurodiverse kids and the families raising them. Worth saying out loud: plenty of the families I work with have no diagnosis at all. A strong-willed six year old and a six year old with autism can be earning the exact same thing with their behavior. What's underneath it doesn't need a label to be found.
I've tried everything. Why would this be any different?
Because everything you tried was a strategy, and a strategy is an answer to one behavior, written for somebody else's kid. Nobody ever told you what yours is actually earning her. That's the piece I find first, and the whole plan gets built on it, so you stop borrowing other people's fixes and start running one that was built for your kid.
"I felt we had already tried everything, we were hesitant to spend the money, and we didn't know if we'd get any real results." — a mom of an 11-year-old, after her Behavior Rx plan.
What do I actually get?
A written plan for the one behavior, in plain language: why it's happening, how to keep it from starting, and what to do when it starts anyway. Plus a video where I walk you through it, because some of it lands better out loud. Both are yours to keep, and to run again the next time something new shows up.
"I've noticed a pattern over the last few weeks which has been awesome to see on paper. The tracking is really helpful." — another mom, a few weeks into her Behavior Rx plan.
My husband isn't on board.
He doesn't have to be for you to start. The plan changes what YOU do first, and that's usually what turns a house around. And because it comes as a written document, you both read the same page, from me, and nobody has to convince the other one.
What if I want you with me while I run it?
That's the 30-Day Fix. Same one behavior, same plan, and a month of me in your corner while you run it in your real house, on the tired days. Behavior Rx and the 30-Day Fix stack, so you can start here and decide later.
Can I ask you something first?
Please do. Send me a note at melissa@melissaschulz.com and I'll help ya out.

“There is something so powerful about having it all repeated back to you in an objective, hopeful light. I didn’t even realize how much I needed to hear that my girls bickering now doesn’t mean they won’t be close sisters later. I know that. But I needed to hear it.” — a mom of a 5 and a 9 year old, after her Behavior Rx plan.
